Coming straight off the streets of Haines City, Florida bridging the gap between Orlando and Tampa; long-time hip hop fan Delusional composed his first rap in 1998 on a napkin for personal entertainment. Little did he know at that point how much of an impact that would have on his life. Hanging with a punk rock crowd regularly, Delusional was introduced to punk rock by friends and grew to appreciate the genre along with his hip hop roots.
Over the next five years, drifting in and out of rap groups and punk bands alike, Delusional finally realized no one could suit his musical needs but himself. Immediately he began work on his debut solo album "The Platinum Punk" in which he wrote, performed, and co-produced every song. His hostile yet at times uplifting lyrics, hard hitting beats, and fast aggressive punk rock take you on a ride that only the most open minded can handle. The album was released on April 20th, 2004 on Delusional's self-made record label Anti-Authority Records. It spawned two radio singles titled "Gotta Do It" and "Live My Life" which received college and commercial airplay in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, and California.
In support of "The Platinum Punk" album, Delusional embarked on two small-scale tours in 2004: The "Outlaw Hooligans" tour which coincided with the release of the record, and the "Natural Disaster" tour which took place in September 2004 in light of the three major hurricanes that devastated Florida in the course of a month. A standout show of that tour included Delusional performing an outdoor concert the very night Hurricane Jeane was beginning to hit land. With winds at over 25mph and a high chance of electricution at risk, he and his hype-men had the time of their lives and rocked the crowd just as always, proving to be literally unstoppable.
With one album under his belt, Delusional has also begun work on his second full length album "Retaliation" slated for a summer 2005 release. According to him, this record will be taking a completely new direction from the first album with a much more solid sound yet filled with Delusional's signature musical grittiness. As he plots retaliation on society, the lyrical warheads stay stealth and undetected, yet armed and waiting to launch a nuclear attack that will leave the nation in a state of emergency! You have been warned.
